Development of the Wide Alloy and Structural Steel Plate Rolling Mill

Tabesh Noor International Development Company (PIIDCO), as part of its strategy to develop the steel value chain, is developing a project for the establishment of a wide alloy and structural steel plate rolling mill in Kerman Province. The project is designed to process steel slabs into wide steel plates, create additional production capacity for higher value-added products, and meet part of the domestic industrial demand.

With a nominal production capacity of 700,000 tons per year, the project will be capable of producing steel plates with a maximum width of 2,500 mm and thicknesses ranging from 6 to 60 mm. The project is considered one of the company’s key development projects in the steel industry. The unit’s primary feedstock will be steel slabs, and its products will include wide alloy and structural steel plates.
